Motivation

A general lack of motivation to do much of anything forced itself upon me earlier today. I vowed with unshakable resolve to root out the source of this affliction, whether it be a chemical imbalance, a malicious spiritual entity, or a government plot to pacify the population. I was feeling a bit drowsy, however, so I decided to first take a nap.

I awoke two hours later with a sense of disorientation and a growling belly. Obviously I could not investigate the forces plotting against me in such a condition, so I prepared a sandwich and started watching a movie.

At the conclusion of the movie, I was awake, alert, and ready to search for solutions to my motivational deficiency. I opened my front door and walked outside to begin my search. The frigid winter air and snowy weather overwhelmed me, though, so I returned to the heated comfort of the indoors. How could I be expected to do this important work while the world outside was frozen? It would stop snowing later in the evening, so I turned on the TV and waited for the weather to become more cooperative.

When the evening came, I was feeling hungry again, so I popped in another movie and ate some dinner. By the time that movie was finished, it was dark outside and too late to go anywhere. I realized that answers could possibly be found on the internet, so I booted up my computer. I thought it important to post this entry before searching, so here I am writing. As soon as this is finished, though, my unshakable resolve to discover the truth will begin.

Although, I am feeling tired after such a busy day. Perhaps tomorrow...
